KOCHI: Muthoot ECC `A' and Palakkad District Cricket Association XI entered the quarterfinals of the 26th Coromandel Cement Cricket tournament at the Jawaharlal Nehru international stadium here on Tuesday. Muthoot ECC thrashed Sharon CC by 149 runs while PDCA XI edged out Octopals Sports Club, Thrissur by two wickets. The scores: Muthoot ECC `A' 252 for four in 30 overs (Manikantan 81, Tejas 57, Manoj 41) bt Sharon CC 103 in 25.2 overs Octopals Sports Club 103 in 27 overs lost to PDCA XI 104 for eight in 24.5 overs.
