Wayanad boys in final

NILESHWARAM: Wayanad boys and Kollam girls entered the finals of the 31st State junior basketball championships at the Rajas HS floodlit courts here on Tuesday.

Wayanad continued its golden run in the tournament by crushing Kottayam 64-27 with Ashely Xavier doing the bulk of scoring with 27 points.

The Kollam girls defeated Thrissur 37-22. The winner led 10-7 at half-time.
