Tirupur: Punjab Police pulled off a thrilling 27-29, 25-12, 25-20, 19-25, 15-13 win over a fighting Indian Navy outfit in a men's Group `A' match at the Nanjappa HSS grounds here on Tuesday night. Earlier, ONGC (Dehradun) chalked out a hard fought 25-20, 25-21, 15-25, 31-29 win over Southern Railway (Chennai).
The results: Men: Punjab Police (Punjab) bt Indian Navy (Delhi) 27-29, 25-12, 25-20, 19-25, 15-13; ONGC (Dehradun) bt S.Rly 25-20, 25-21, 15-25, 31-29. Women: SAI (Thalassery) bt Golden Jubilee Team (Coimbatore) 25-20, 25-14, 25-10; Central Railway bt S.Rly 25-14, 23-25, 25-21, 19-25, 15-5.
