Interesting web site for fans of Sivaji Ganesan

Staff Reporter

Chennai: Do you enjoy reciting dialogues from Sivaji Ganesan's `Vietnam Veedu' or `Gauravam'? Hardcore fans may find V. Raghavendran's website www.nadigarthilagam.com interesting.

In the section with information on the legend's films and co-artistes, browsers can find details on the year a particular film was made, the director, the basic storyline and the role played by the protagonist.

The website is an opportunity for fans to recall characters played by the actor in a range of films from Parasakthi, Sivaji's first film, to Mudal Mariyadai and later, Devar Magan. There are also sections on films that reached the hundred-day mark and others that saw silver jubilee screenings.

After retirement, Mr. Raghavendran, who was eager to compile information on his idol, worked for about six months.

"I wanted the website to have comprehensive information on the actor," he says.
