ALAPPUZHA: Noted Thullal artiste Kongad Achutha Pisharody will be honoured with the Kunchan Nambiar Award instituted by the Ambalapuzha Kunchan Nambiar Smarakam, vice-chairman of the organisation Abraham Arackal said here on Wednesday. The organisation, which functions under the aegis of the State Department of Culture, would present the award on May 5, which is celebrated as `Kunchan Dinam,' on the occasion of the poet's birth anniversary.
