Ban on private tuitions sought

Memorandum submitted to the Deputy Commissioner


  • District administration given ten days' time to take action
  • BJP opposes demand for ban on tuitions

    HASSAN: Activists of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (Narayana Gowda faction) staged a dharna in front of the Deputy Commissioner's office here on Wednesday demanding a ban on private tuitions for pre-university students.

    Taluk unit president Satish Patel and convener Kumar led the dharna. They submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner. Government lecturers should not give private tuitions, unemployed graduates should take permission from the Government if they want to take private tuitions and the district administration should fix fees for it were among their demands.
