Physician honoured for contribution to drama

CHENNAI: V.P. Sridhar, an Ayurveda physician and founder of Medimix group of companies, was honoured for his contribution to drama on Tuesday.

Dr. Sridhar, who has 50 years' experience as a stage actor, was honoured at a function organised by Sunday theatre, a monthly drama appreciation programme of Pranavam Theatres.

Actor `Delhi' Ganesh presented the memento and citation. Indira Parthasarathy's play `Veedu', directed by film director K.S. Sethumadhavan, was staged.
