SC, ST lecturers' plea

Andhra Pradesh Government College SC, ST Lecturers Welfare Association on Wednesday appealed to the Government to fill vacant posts of principals, including backlog, with SCs only. In a representation to Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, association leaders said the vacancies were not filled since 2003.

Date extended for PG entrance applications

The last date for the submission of applications for P.G. Entrance Test-2007 of the Osmania University has been extended up to May 5, 2007 without late fee. There is no change in the schedule for submission of applications with late fee. The details of submission and late fee schedule are displayed on the website www.osmania.ac.in.

Water, environment exhibition

A three-day exhibition and conference on `Environment and water for domestic, commercial, industrial and communities needs' will begin on June 22 at HITEX. It is being organised by city-based NRS Forums and Exhibitions, a division of NRS Publications. Manufacturers of equipment, machinery and services related to environment and water will display their products, said M.A. Nazeer, Chief Executive of NRS Forums & Exhibitions. Scientists and experts will address the conference.

Free diabetes session
