Plea for new panel on SCB delimitation

HYDERABAD: A social activist, Jetty Umeshwar Rao, called for setting aside of the delimitation of wards for the Secunderabad Cantonment Board from seven to eight on the grounds that proper norms were not followed.

In a communication to the Director General of Defence Estates in New Delhi, Jetty Umeshwar Rao, stated that SCB Chief Executive Officer V. Premchand constituted a committee without following norms and sought another panel headed by the Additional Director of Defence Estates to undertake the delimitation exercise.
