GUNTUR: Hindustan Lever Limited on Thursday launched its domestic drinking water purification system in Guntur market. The equipment, named `Pureit', was available at all major town of Andhra Pradesh and now it would be available in Guntur also, a company release said. The company claimed that it provided protection from water-borne diseases, as its output was comparable to boiled water.
Battery kit
Running on a battery kit that last for purifying 1,500 litres - Germkill, needs to be replaced at Rs.300 a kit, it added. Further details can be had from its help line 9246100100.
