AIADMK plea to President

CHENNAI: The All-India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam has sought the immediate intervention of the President and the Prime Minister to "initiate immediate steps to stop further damage to Ramar Sethu bridge," while taking up the Sethusamudram Canal project.

In a statement, party general secretary Jayalalithaa said that if the Centre took no steps, the AIADMK would seek legal remedy.
