Orissa trounces Kerala

Rourkela: Host Orissa routed last year's runner-up Kerala 8-0 to begin its campaign in the quarterfinal league of the 15th senior National women's football championship here on Thursday.

Striker Sukumati Laguri scored four goals, skipper Sraddhanjali Samantaray pumped in three and Gayatri Mallick one.

In the morning, Bengal trounced Haryana 10-0. Striker Sujata Kar scored five of the goals. — PTI
