Radio Choklate to go on air from today

First private FM channel in State

BHUBANESWAR: Radio Choklate may become the first private radio FM Channel in the State as it is scheduled to go on air from Friday morning.

Making an announcement in this regard, Managing Director of Radio Choklate Soumya Ranjan Patnaik said there was a tremendous business opportunities, which was largely untapped.

"Our musical team as well as vision, will help us to drive radio business across the State," Mr. Patnaik said.

Eastern Media Limited, the parent company of Radio Choklate, had spent nearly Rs 7 crore on the venture, he said.

State-of-the-art studio

Radio Choklate has set up its state-of-the-art studio and recording facility with latest digital technology here.

"We want to offer our audience a new feeling about the FM radio.

The programmes will be in English, Hindi and Oriya languages," director of the Radio Choklate Monica Nayyar Patnaik said.
