BIG 92.7 FM, in association with OnYoMo, a pioneer in local search technologies, has launched its mobile search service on BIG 92.7 FM's shortcode 5454. You can get information on restaurants, movies, florists, hotels, bookstores or even electronics. Once you send your query, you will get the information in 15 seconds, said a press release from BIG FM. The mobile search on 5454 is similar to a search engine on the web. It is now available in Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi and will be extended to other towns and cities.
Type text `FIND' followed by what you are looking for. For example, SMS `FIND MOZHI ANNA SALAI'to 5454 for information about the movie `Mozhi' on Anna Salai. SMS `FIND HELP' to 5454 for more service details. The rate per SMS is Rs. 3 for subscribers of Aircel, Airtel, Hutch, Reliance, and Tata and 80 paise/Re 1 for messages from BSNL mobiles.
