HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) has decided to name a mobile clinic after former Chief Secretary V. P. Rama Rao who passed away on Wednesday. The clinic was launched for the benefit of industrial workers. Mr. Rama Rao who had served as vice-chairman and managing director of the APIIC from 1974 to 1977 is considered to be the founding father of the corporation.
Great contribution
His contribution in creating land bank for industrial parks put the APIIC on a firm footing. The mobile clinic to be called `VP Rama Rao Memorial Karmika Raksha Vaahan', will cover the autonagar areas in Guntur, Vijayawada, Ongole and Nellore, according to a press release.
