Diabetes camp

Mahabodhi Mallige Hospital is conducting a two-day free diabetes camp, exhibition and education programme on May 5 and 6 from 8.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Mahabodhi Mallige Hospital, T. Mariappa Road, 1st Block, Jayanagar. For details, call 26565678.

Power shutdown

There will be no power supply on Friday from 10.30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the following areas for carrying out maintenance work — HRBR 1st, 2nd and 3rd Block Subbanapalya, Kammanahalli Main Road, Sena Vihar, Jalavayu Vihar and surrounding areas.

Results

The results of the third semester B.Com degree examinations of Bangalore University conducted in November/December 2006 were announced on May 2. The principals of the concerned colleges are requested to collect the result sheets from the Examination branch, Central College campus. The last date for the colleges to submit revaluation applications to the University is May 15 without penal fee and May 21 with penal fee. For details, call 22961217.

Selection list

The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board will publish the provisional selection list for 122 backlog vacancies on May 5 at 4 p.m. The list will be available on www.bwssb.org.

Transport adalat

A "Transport Adalat" will be held at 3 p.m. on May 8 at the Regional Transport Office (Central), BDA Shopping Complex, Hall-4, II floor, Koramangala, Bangalore. The adalat will be attended by senior officers.

Water adalat

The Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board will hold a water adalat on May 4 from 9.30 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the office of the Assistant Executive Engineer of East-1 sub division, Frazer Town, to redress the grievances of consumers in the jurisdiction of Kasturinagar, OMBR Layout, HRBR Layout, BHR Layout and Lingarajapuram Limits.
