IPU calls for pullout

SINGAPORE: With a bloc of Western states dissociating itself from an anti-terror resolution, the Inter Parliamentary Union (IPU) on Friday demanded "the immediate withdrawal of all existing foreign forces from Iraq." The IPU, which concluded its latest meeting in Bali (Indonesia), called for a follow-up "deployment of peace-keeping forces under the auspices of the United Nations."
