Referring to a sentence, "Lord Veeraraghava Perumal of Vandiyur received Kallazhagar" in the report "Zeal marks Kallazhagar's entry into the Vaigai" (May 3, 2007), a reader points out that it was Lord Veeraraghava Perumal from the South Masi Street temple who received Kallazhagar and not the one from Vandiyur.

The Veeraraghava Perumal Temple on South Masi Street is a sub-temple of Koodal Alagar Temple. As per tradition, the deity from this temple receives Lord Kallazhagar.
