RI for two MTNL employees

New Delhi: A Delhi court on Friday sentenced two MTNL employees to three years' rigorous imprisonment each for demanding and accepting a bribe from a complainant for shifting his telephone connection twelve years ago.

Special Judge Sunil Gaur held Junior Telecom Engineer Niranjan Singh and Lineman Naresh Kumar guilty under Prevention of Corruption Act, for taking bribe of Rs 200 from one Anoop Singh.
