KOLLAM: Minister for Labour P.K. Gurudasan has said that the State Government will give due recognition to homoeopathy and Ayurveda. Inaugurating the annual convention of the Institution of Homoeopaths Kerala (IHK) here on Saturday, he said the recognition would be on a par with that of allopathy. The situation in Kerala situation made development and propagation of homoeopathy and Ayurveda a must. As the pharmaceutical sector was in the grip of multinational companies, homoeopathy and Ayurveda needed encouragement, he added. IHK president Binoy S. Vallabhassery presided. Mayor N. Padmalochanan and district panchayat president K. Devaki spoke.
