Insurance officers' strike on May 18

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Class-I officers of four public sector general insurance companies (United India Insurance, New India Assurance, Oriental Insurance and National Insurance) will go on a day's strike on May 18.

P.P. Mohanan, State vice-president, General Insurance Officers' All India Association, said here on Friday that the strike was in protest against the unilateral implementation of the revised promotion policy and transfer-mobility policy for officers.
