Master plan for Peroorkada hospital

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A master plan for the development of the Government Hospital at Peroorkada will be prepared soon, Mayor C. Jayan Babu has said.

As directed by the Government, hospital management committees will be set up in all the hospitals under the city corporation.

The Mayor was speaking at a meeting at the corporation council hall on Saturday called to discuss raising levels of cleanliness in hospitals under the corporation.

The Mayor also directed the superintendents of these hospitals to repair broken septic tanks, to immediately purchase whatever is essential in operation theatres and to report the vacancies in each hospital.
