Rain likely in Tamil Nadu

CHENNAI: Rainfall occurred at most places over Kerala and a few places over Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka. Isolated rainfall occurred over coastal and north interior Karnataka and coastal Andhra Pradesh. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Telangana. Dry weather prevailed over Rayalaseema and Lakshadweep.

Haripad (Alapuzha dt.) and Kochi Airport recorded heavy rainfall of 11 and 7 centimetres respectivelyOn Saturday, the maximum temperature rose at a few places north Tamil Nadu, at one or two places over coastal A.P. and, interior Karnataka, Kerala, fell at one or two places over Telangana, north coastal Tamil Nadu and changed little elsewhere over the region.

Forecast (Valid until Tuesday morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala and south interior Karnataka. Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep, coastal and north interior Karnataka.
