GULBARGA: Around 3,000 students, aspiring to enter professional courses, on Sunday crossed the first hurdle before the ultimate selection to enter medical, engineering and other professional courses by appearing for the entrance test conducted by COMEDK in four centres in Gulbarga.
Registered
According to sources in the COMEDK, 3,390 students had registered their names for the entrance test conducted by the COMEDK on Sunday and according to details available, more than 3,000 students appeared for the examination from different centres, including some students from Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra. The test was conducted in Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College Auditorium, two centres in Appa Institute of Engineering and Technology, and Poojya Doddappa Appa College of Engineering in the city. While 960 students had registered to take the test at Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College, 720 students had registered their names for the test conducted at the Poojya Doddappa Appa College of Engineering. In all, 1,710 students had registered their names for the test conducted in two centres at the Appa Institute of Engineering and Technology in the city. While the Physics and Chemistry papers were conducted in the morning session, the Mathematics and Biology tests was held in the evening.
