IN TUNE: Actor Namita interacts with children at the new activity centre, Baby's Day Out, on Saturday.
CHENNAI: On Saturday, the babe met the babies. Actor Namita isn't exactly one you would picture dangling a young one from her knee, but she seemed at ease at the launch of an activity centre for kids. After all, she is "just a grown-up child," in her own words. Baby's Day Out (BDO) on Chamiers Road is a sort of kitty party for the under 12s. Company CEO Vimal Chordia said he and his friends were discussing about the city lacking in quality space for children to play, and soon came up with the BDO concept. It offers children an air-conditioned playground to develop their mental and physical ability and make new friends. It is open to children aged between 8 months and 12 years.
