Midwifery training centre inaugurated

HYDERABAD:
The State Government is striving to reduce the current maternal and infant mortality rates significantly during the next three years.
State Health and Family Welfare Minister S. Chandrasekhar, who inaugurated the Centre for Advanced Midwifery Training (CAMT) Centre in the Niloufer Health Training School here on Saturday, said the Centre is working in that direction to achieve the millennium development goals. He said the aim is to reduce the current maternal mortality from 341 to 80.
