3 injured in grenade attack on Congress rally
SRINAGAR:
At least three persons, including a woman and her minor daughter, were injured as militants carried out a grenade attack minutes after a public meeting of the Youth Congress in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district on Sunday.
The incident took place five minutes after the meeting held at village Nanil in Mattan, 55 km from here.
It was addressed by youth Congress president and member of the upper house of state legislature, Mohammad Amin Bhat. Officials said the Congress leaders had already left the scene when the attack took place around 2.20 p.m.
