Boy elctrocuted

BANGALORE: A three-year-old boy was electrocuted when he came in contact with a live electric cable in Hulimavu Police Station limits on Saturday.

The police gave the name of the boy as Mohammed Sufian. He is the son of Mohammed Javed, who is an autorickshaw driver.

According to the police, the incident occurred at a mini water supply scheme borewell in the locality.

The boy, who was playing, entered the pump house and came in contact with the live wire, the police said.

The police have registered a case of culpable homicide not amounting to murder against the civic authorities concerned.
