NELLORE: CPI State secretary K. Narayana on Monday alleged that some Congress leaders had been raking up the Pothireddypadu head regulator issue time and again to get political mileage. Taking exception to the reported comments of Congress leaders P. Janardhan Reddy and M. Sashidhar Reddy that the project was only to facilitate uninterrupted water to the proposed steel plant in Kadapa, he said it could help both Rayalaseema region as well as coastal districts of Nellore and Prakasam.
