Student interaction

CHENNAI : Campus Abroad will organise student interaction programmes in association with the UK-based University of Paisley at its office in Anna Nagar. A university representative will interact with students on May 12 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Spot admissions for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Business Studies, Engineering, Information Technology and Social Sciences will be offered. Blood donation

The Blood bank of Indian Red Cross Society organised a blood donation camp at Arumbakkam on May 6. The camp was organised by founder-president of Vijaya Kumar. M, a non-profit organisation.

ENT camp

Adhiparasakthi Hospital and Research Institute at Melmaruvathur organised a free ENT camp on May 5 and 6. Doctors screened students from nearby areas.

Nominations invited for award

The Confederation of Indian Organisations for Service and Advocacy and Udhavum Ullangal Public Charitable Trust have invited nominations for Dr. K.S. Sanjivi award 2007. They urged non-governmental organisations, voluntary institutions and members of the public to nominate doctors (as also institutions), who have rendered an exemplary service for the poor and the needy.
