Medical courses admission schedule

CHENNAI: Applications for MBBS, BDS seats to medical and dental colleges for the admission year 2007 will be issued from May 28.

In a schedule released on Monday, the office of the Director of Medical Education specified that the last date for submitting the filled-up application forms is June 15. Applications will be accepted only till 5 p.m. on June 15.

The Merit List will be published on June 22 and the first session of counselling will begin on July 2 and go on until July 8.

Admissions for the students who have been allotted colleges will be held on July 18 and classes will commence on August 1. The second phase of counselling will begin on August 25 to fill the vacant seats and quota seats will be held between August 25 and 28. These students will join college on August 30 and the entire admission process will be completed by September 30.
