Balasubramanian, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Anna Nagar, Chennai, has been promoted as Joint Commissioner of Police Headquarters, Chennai. P. Thamaraikannan, SP/Chief Vigilance Officer, Aavin, has been promoted but will continue as Chief Vigilance Officer, Aavin. Deputy Inspector-General of Police (Tirunelveli Range) K.C. Mahali has been posted as DIG of Police, Security Branch CID, Chennai. N.C. Umamaheswaran, SP Security II, has been posted as AIG, Headquarters, Chennai. M.V. Jayagowri, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Headquarters), Chennai, has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Anna Nagar, Chennai, official sources said here on Monday.
