Air crash victims' kin in a state of shock
Staff Reporter
BANGALORE:
Relatives of chartered accountant B. Madhusudhan and family who were on board the Kenyan Airways flight that crashed in Cameroon, are in a state of a shock.
Madhusudhan (42), his wife Bhagya (34) and daughter Poojitha (10) were among the 15 "confirmed" Indian nationals who had boarded the Kenyan Airways Ko507 flying from Douala airport in Cameroon to Nairobi.
Madhusudhan's brother stays in J.P. Nagar, and his mother is reportedly in Bangalore, awaiting the return of her son and his family.
The Boeing 737-800 had crashed minutes after it took off from Douala.
Madhusudhan and his family were to take a connecting flight from Nairobi to Mumbai.
When contacted on Monday, Madhusudhan's brother refused to speak.
The entire family continue to be glued to television channels to get updates on the fate of the air crash victims.
Madhusudan was working with Strides Arco Labs and his family was staying in Cameroon for the past two years.
Mr. Madhusudhan was planning to settle down in Bangalore following the end of his two-year contract, according to a relative of his.
