Dilip Rau to hold grievance meet

Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike Administrator Dilip Rau will hold a grievance meet at the office of the Joint commissioner (South) on May 8 between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. People in the south zone can submit their grievances at this meeting.

Free eye screening camp

Rotary Eye Hospital is conducting a free eye screening camp on May 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the hospital on 10th `A' main, 68th cross, 5th block, Rajajinagar. Suture less cataract surgery will be done free of cost. For details, call 23104020 and 23113759.

Award

The Students' Islamic Organisation of India will felicitate Muslim students who have scored top marks in the SSLC exam. A cash prize of Rs. 5,000 and a memento will be awarded to the student who has scored the highest marks in the academic year 2007-08. Students who have secured more than 90 per cent and above are eligible for the Afzal Hussain certificate. Muslim students of Urdu, Kannada and English mediums can send the photocopies of their marks cards attested by the head of the institution to No.7, SRK Garden, Jayanagar by May 30. Refresher course

The UGC Academic Staff College will organise a refresher course in biotechnology from May 21.
