13 p.c. final from Syndicate Bank

BANGALORE: Syndicate Bank reported a 44 per cent growth in its global business to reach Rs. 1,31,473 crore in 2006-07 with the domestic segment growing by 46.3 per cent. The Chairman and Managing Director, C. P. Swarnkar, told reporters here on Tuesday that "crossing the one lakh crore business volume was a milestone for us. The net profit also increased by 33.5 per cent year-on-year to Rs. 716 crore." The board has recommended a final dividend of 13 per cent. It had paid an interim dividend of 15 per cent.
