HYDERABAD: Nine rebel Telangana Rashtra Samiti MLAs have been given two more weeks' time to reply to the notice issued by the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker in response to TRS' petition seeking their disqualification for fielding an independent in the Council elections. "In response to a letter submitted by the TRS, the Legislative Secretariat has issued a notice to the nine MLAs seeking an explanation on the demand for disqualifying them under the provisions of anti-defection law," Mr. Suresh Reddy said on Tuesday. Meanwhile, TRS secretary V. Prakash told reporters that his party would challenge the Speaker's ruling if it went against the TRS.
