HYDERABAD: A painful wait for securing Cabinet berths over, at least 11 newly inducted Ministers of the State Cabinet, are now waiting for the "muhurtham" (auspicious time) to occupy their chambers in the Secretariat here. A full thirteen days after being administered the oath of office, ten of them feel that their `graha balam', was still not right to enter their offices. However, five Ministers have found that Wednesday morning was an auspicious time and decided to go to their office chambers. Those who waited for the auspicious time are R. Chenga Reddy, G. Aruna Kumari, M. Buddha Prasad, S. Chandrasekhar, M. Hanumantha Rao, T.Jeevan Reddy, A. Ramnarayan Reddy, J. Ratnakar Rao, V. Venkateswara Rao, P. Subhash Chandra Bose and K. Venkata Krishna Reddy. While the appropriate muhurtham is delaying their entry, the Ministers are citing ongoing `Praja Patham' programme as another reason for the delay. Mr. Ratnakar Rao, Minister for Endowments, Stamps and Registration, said he would enter his chambers' on May 14 as he was pre-occupied with the programme. Asset distribution to the beneficiaries was slated for May 12 and he would complete it and come to Hyderabad the next day. It is expected that the remaining Ministers will take charge on May 14, the day the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee will observe as `Re-dedication Day' to mark the completion of three years of Congress rule in the State.
