NBA accreditation for 23 courses at engineering college

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has given accreditation to 23 postgraduate courses run by the College of Engineering, Thiruvanathapuram (CET), here.

The courses are post graduate programmes in structural engineering, traffic and transportation, hydraulics, environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, machine design, microwave and T.V. engineering, thermal sciences, industrial engineering propulsion, control systems, guidance and navigation control, applied electronics and instrumentation, power systems, MCA, electrical and electronics engineering, civil engineering, electronics and communication engineering, applied electronics and instrumentation, industrial engineering, mechanical and computer science.

The CET is also implementing an Rs.32 crore national level project, "Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme", of the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India.
