NIZAMABAD: Two groups of Telugu Desam Party workers clashed here during the party organisational elections to Biknoor and Domakonda mandals at Kamareddy on Tuesday. Enraged supporters of Kunchala Sekhar who vied for the Domakonda mandal party president post came to fisticuffs with followers of Palle Rama Swami Goud demanding reelection as the former lost the election by only one vote. While Mr. Goudsecured 37 votes, Mr. Sekhar got 36 votes. Party workers clashed at the Biknoor mandal committee election too. However, senior leaders Mr. Ali, Mr. Govardhan and former Minister, Nerella Anjaneyulu, intervened to bring things under control.
