Classes on Annamayya keerthanas

KADAPA: Annamacharya Project has launched a week-long awareness training on Annamacharya keerthanas to people of all ages at TTD kalyana mantapam on Wednesday.

Gurumurthy of Annamacharya project taught singing techniques and the way in which Annamacharya keerthanas should be sung. Men, women and children participated in the classes from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. today. Each participant was given a book containing Annamacharya keerthanas.

The classes were part of TTD board's endeavour to popularise the keerthanas among general public. Ms. Padmavathi enrolled the participants and programme officer of TTD information centre here Harinath participated.
