KANNUR: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) State general secretary K.C. Kadambooran and his associates in the Democratic Indira Congress (Karunakaran) which merged with the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) will join the Congress at a function here on May 12. Mr. Kadambooran, who had been district president of the DIC(K) till the merger of the party with the NCP, said he and others who had left the Congress and joined the breakaway DIC(K) were strongly opposed to the merger with the NCP which had announced that it would have no links with the United Democratic Front.
