Tributes paid to Seva Dal founder

Puducherry: President of Puducherry Pradesh Congress Committee and former Chief Minister P. Shanmugham paid tribute to Seva Dal founder N.S. Hardikar at his 119th birth anniversary celebrations at the party office here recently.

Chief Minister N. Rangasamy, his Cabinet colleagues, MLAs, party functionaries and delegates of the Seva Dal were among those who paid homage to Hardikar.

Earlier, Mr. Shanmugham took the salute at the march past presented by volunteers of the Seva Dal. Municipal councillors and delegates of civic bodies were also present.

PCC general secretary A. Gandhiraj and functionaries of Seva Dal including N. Tamodarane recalled the services of Hardikar.
