NEW DELHI: Over the years, cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan has lived a multi-faceted life. From auctioning off his entire cricket memorabilia to fund the hospital of his dreams to standing all on his own in the hurly burly of politics, Imran Khan has charted different courses in life to reach out to the common man. Now he will be unravelled in CNN's brand new series titled "Revealed" to be premiered this Saturday. The series was made recently after the difficult days faced by the Pakistani cricket team. The "Revealed" team spends a week with the man who brought the Pakistan cricket team a historic World Cup victory in 1992. Imran's political movement in 1996 has made him win just one seat (his own) in Parliament. The team of "Revealed" travels with the tall Pathan around Pakistan's capital city of Islamabad as he campaigns for the country's next general elections. The three-part series seeks to focus on the transformation of Imran Khan, accompanying him on a tour of Pakistan during a typical "week in his life". The theme has been chosen as there have been many Imrans over the years -- Oxford graduate, party-boy friend of the Rolling Stones, husband of Jemima Goldsmith, fund-raiser for penniless cancer victims, and, now, a politician and leader of the Tehreek-e-Insaf -- Movement for Justice -- in Pakistan. The team first meets him in Lahore -- where he was brought up in the suburbs, and developed his cricketing skills. Lahore holds many childhood and family memories for Imran Khan, including the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer hospital he built in 1996 in his mother's name after she died of cancer.
