THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala State Electricity Board has suspended three football players — Jaseer Karanath, K. Anees and Noushad Pari — from service. The players were found guilty of having played in unauthorised sevens tournaments for local clubs in Nileshwaram and Kozhikode while KSEB was taking part in the Western Union State football league in Kozhikode earlier this month. The suspended players were appointed under sports quota. — Principal Correspondent
