Events planned for National Technology Day

VISAKHAPATNAM: As part of the `National Technology Day' celebrations, NSTL will organise a visit to various departments of the laboratory for city students of engineering colleges, junior colleges and ninth and tenth classes on Friday between 10.30 a.m. and 5 p.m.

`National Technology Day' is celebrated every year to commemorate the nuclear test conducted at Pokhran on May 11, 1998. Students can get the opportunity to see world-class hydrodynamic facilities and weapon systems such as torpedoes, mines and decoys developed by NSTL. A number of demonstration models will be on display to help appreciate the concepts involved.
