Jacob demands resurvey at Munnar

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala Congress (Jacob) leader T.M. Jacob has urged the Government to resurvey the land in Munnar by a special taskforce of the Revenue Department.

Mr. Jacob told mediapersons here on Wednesday that the Revenue Department should engage a taskforce headed by an IAS officer for resurveying the land and ensure that the process was completed in three months.

This was the only means for recovering revenue land from the encroachers. A party delegation led by Mr.Jacob would visit Munnar to take stock of the situation.
