Medak students excel in class VII exam

Sangareddy: With a slight improvement in performance compared to last year the Class VII students of Medak district registered a pass percentage of 97.97 in the common exam conducted in April this year.

Minister for school education C. Damodar Rajnarsimha released the results at the Zila Parishad conference hall here on Wednesday. Out of the 49,923 students who appeared for the exam, 48,908 passed the examination in which 25,368 are boys and 23,540 are girls. The pass percentage in private candidates is 81.26 per cent.
