Efforts on to improve education

KADAPA: Subject-wise district fora will be constituted with 500 members for educational development in Kadapa district under Sarva Siksha Abhiyan, District Educational Officer C.A.V. Prasad and SSA Assistant Project Coordinator P.V. Lakshmaiah said on Tuesday.

Ten persons will be chosen from each mandal from among teachers, employees and retired teachers and interested ones should apply to SSA office here before May 15, they said in a statement. The members will not be paid any remuneration. Forum members will be involved in the State, district and mandal-level training and monitoring programmes and school complex meetings.

In another statement, they instructed MEOto submit details on school complexes before May 10 evening.
