Man held on polygamy charges

CHENNAI : A 42-year-old man has been arrested on charges of polygamy and remanded by a court to judicial custody.

Police said Martin Luther had allegedly married four women — Mary, Parimala, Salomi and Buelah. When Buelah came to know that Luther was planning to marry another woman, she informed the police.

Following a court directive, M.K.B.Nagar police registered a case and arrested Luther on Wednesday.
