Air Marshal Apte visits Avadi station

Chennai : Air Marshal J. S. Apte, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Maintenance Command, Indian Air Force, visited Air Force Station at Avadi on Tuesday.

He urged Air Force personnel to upgrade technical knowledge and skills in view of the induction of state-of-the-art aircraft and air-to-air refuelers, an IAF release here said.

Uma Apte, president of Air Force Wives Welfare Association, accompanied Mr. Apte. The association organises cancer detection camps, blood donation programmes and adult education classes, the release said.
